Terms and Conditions

General

These Terms and Conditions apply to all transactions between us and yourself. They do not affect your statutory rights. Please read them carefully.

We may change these Terms and Conditions at any time. Any changes will take effect on the date they are posted on our website.

These Terms and Conditions are governed by English law and are subject to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts. We do not accept amendments to these Terms and Conditions.

Failure by us to enforce any of these Terms and Conditions will not affect our right to enforce the rest of these terms and conditions.

 

Customer Orders

We will treat each order for goods as an offer by you to purchase the goods subject to these terms and conditions.

To order goods over the telephone or on our website, you must be at least 18 years of age and accept delivery within the UK. All telephone orders will be acknowledged verbally at the time of order, and all orders placed on our website will be acknowledged electronically by e-mail. Please note that verbal and/or electronic acknowledgements do not constitute order confirmation or order acceptance. Your order will be accepted and the creation of a legally binding contract between you and us will take place once the goods have been despatched or collected. (Alternatively, we may decline all or part of your order for any reason, in which case we will inform you in-person or by telephone or e-mail).

When deciding whether or not to accept your order we may use certain information about you, including any received from credit reference agency checks. This helps to protect you and us against fraudulent transactions.

We will tell you if your payment details cannot be authorised for any reason and may invite you to pay by another method.

The total price payable will be stipulated at the time when you place your order whether or not the order has been acknowledged. We are entitled to make adjustments to the price to take account of any increase in our suppliers’ prices, or the imposition of any taxes or duties, or if due to an error or omission the price published for the goods is wrong whether or not the order has been acknowledged. We will inform you of the correct price and give you the opportunity to cancel the order. All prices are inclusive of VAT (where applicable) but exclusive of delivery charges which may be payable as indicated at the time the order is placed.

From time to time the prices displayed on our website may be different if you are directed to it from a third party website. Purchases at these prices can only be made on our website and by arriving on it through a relevant third party website; these prices will not be available in-store or over the telephone.

Prices, offers and products are subject to availability and may change before (but not after) we accept your order. If a product becomes unavailable we may offer you an alternative.

 

Order Processing

Your order is sent directly to our secure till in our shop for processing. Once we have received your order and payment, our staff will pick, pack and dispatch the item. We will aim to do this the same day for all orders received before 2.30 pm UK time, Monday to Friday, excluding Bank Holidays.

 

PLEASE NOTE THAT FOR YOUR PROTECTION, YOUR FIRST ORDER CAN ONLY BE SENT TO THE CREDIT CARD BILLING ADDRSS UNLESS YOU CONTACT US FIRST FOR ADDED SECURITY CHECKS.

 

Order Cancellation

You can cancel your order at any time before it is dispatched (usually by 3.30 pm UK time). If your card has already been charged, we will aim to credit your account with the full amount within 48 hours.

If you wish to cancel your order after it has been dispatched, you will be charged for the cost of delivery and will need to return the items using the returns process.

 

Order tracking

You can track the progress of your order at any time by logging into ‘My Account’ from the Home page on this website and clicking on ’My Purchases’.

 

Security

We use the industry leading internet payment company Paypal to protect your card details and protect us from fraud.

Safeguarding your financial and personal information is one of Paypal’s most important priorities. That’s why they automatically encrypt all sensitive information sent between your computer and their servers.

Information is protected by SSL with an encryption key length of 128 bits (the highest level commercially available).

Your personal information is stored on their servers and heavily guarded, both physically and electronically. To further shield your credit card and bank numbers, they do not directly connect their firewall-protected servers to the internet.

Delivery

PLEASE NOTE THAT FOR YOUR PROTECTION, YOUR FIRST ORDER CAN ONLY BE SENT TO THE CREDIT CARD BILLING ADDRSS UNLESS YOU CONTACT US FIRST FOR ADDED SECURITY CHECKS.

Delivery is charged per order - UK £2.95, Europe £7 and worldwide £15.

 Your order will usually be sent by first recorded class post. Once you have placed an order it will be dispatched the same day or the next working day depending on the time the order was placed.

If you are unavailable when our delivery partner tries to deliver your order, they will usually try to deliver again the next working day or they will drop in a card to offer you a collection from a local collection point.

All delivery prices where quoted are for most UK Mainland addresses. Northern Ireland (BT), Isle of Wight (PO30-37), Isle of Man (IM), Scottish Highlands and Orkney Isles (PA, ML, EH, KA, G, KY, PH, DD, AB, IV, KW), Outer Hebrides and the Shetland Isles (HS, ZE) will incur additional charges and may also experience delivery delays; morning, Saturday and ’next working day’ deliveries are optional and will also incur additional charges.

We will only deliver goods to the address on the order.

 

Availability

All information provided on the products on this website is intended as a guide only. Dimensions and weights are only approximate, as are colours. If you are ordering goods that are out of stock we will dispatch them when they are received from our supplier.

On occasion goods are subject to availability and delay in delivery of goods is sometimes outside our control. As such, delivery cannot be guaranteed and any dates we specify for the delivery of the goods are approximate only. We shall not be liable for any losses, costs, damages, charges, or expenses caused by any delay for delivery of the goods.

 

Returns

UK

We want you to be completely happy with your purchase.  If for any reason you are not happy, returns couldn’t be simpler!

To return full priced items purchased on our website, please contact us within 7 days of making your purchase, either by e-mail at customerservices@pebbleonline.co.uk or telephone us on 01706 222287.  You will be given a returns number that should be written on the outside of your parcel and we will provide you with a returns address to send the goods to.

All we ask is that all goods are returned in a re-sellable condition i.e. unworn and with any swing tickets still attached.

We recommend that you obtain a certificate of posting from the post office, as we will not be able to give refunds on any items that do not reach us.

Your statutory rights are not affected.

Sale and discounted items can be returned for an exchange within 7 days.  Please contact us for a returns number prior to returning items.

Europe & Rest of the World

If for any reason you are not happy with your full priced purchase, please follow the returns process outlined below.
